Where the rubber meets the road"

 

The 6th ICCVM conference was an unequaled success with an outstanding 4.5 day program received enthusiastically from 135 international delegates. This was a roll-up-your-sleeves in-depth 'camp' experience with an eclectic mix of DVMs, RVTs, educators, researchers, front-line staff and practice managers who thoroughly enjoyed the program. From Sunday morning's opening to the standing ovation from delegates Wednesday at noon, this was a robust offering of the best communications training possible. When the planning committee announced that the next ICCVM would not be until fall of 2013, the demand for something sooner has resulted in the news that ICCVM will produce a "Communication boot-camp for the veterinary practice team" to be held in Ontario in the fall 2012. The program, venue and exact dates will be released in the near future so please check back here.

The full ICCVM conference is schedule for St. Louis in November 2013 and details will be available shortly.

The presentations from ICCVM will be available on this site for registered delegates in the coming days. All delegates will be notified when they are here.

I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to you all for another fantastic conference. What a wonderful gathering of so many similar thinkers and a way to share knowledge and network with such a diverse group of passionate people in the veterinary industry. What a great venue, what great people, and what a great experience. I hope you can think of your weariness as a “Badge of Awesomeness!” - it is no easy project to pull together that level of conference the way you all have. Big GiANT kudos to you all.
